2018 MHCO Quilt Draw Winner & Fundraising Successes
Hello MHCO Members,
The MHCO would like to send congratulations to Julie Fitzsimmons who was the winner of our Quilt Draw (picture on MHCO's Facebook page)! Thank you to Carol McIsaac who made and donated the quilt to our club as a fundraiser for the MHCO Club Show Series. The quilt draw was a great success with 370 tickets sold and making $ 627.00 for the MHCO's Club Shows.
A big thank you to everyone who bought and sold tickets for this draw. A special shout out goes to Cathy Fisher who sold 140 of tickets who was awarded a nice thank you gift for being the highest seller (picture on MHCO's Facebook page).
We also had a number of other club fundraising successes that day! We send out appreciation to the donation of knitted and crocheted items hand made and sold by member Jackie Sorfleet which brought in $16 towards the AMHR Shows and $16 towards the AMHA Shows.
Our ever popular Silent Auction brought in a total of $321.50 (which was broken down as follows: AMHA Account = $24, AMHR Account = $148.75 and MHCO Regular Account = $148.75). Thank you to all the members who donated items to the silent auction as well as to those who bought items.
Thank you again to everyone who came out to the annual MHCO Meeting and Awards Banquet - it was a great day full of fun and fellowship!
