Hello Fellow MHCO Members,
Wow, hard to believe but it is time to get your 2018 MHCO memberships!
We would like to clarify the different types of membership with regards to showing at the MHCO Club Points Shows. Please consider what your goals are and ensure that your membership type will let you fulfill them. A MHCO member may show a horse for another member regardless of which type of membership is held.
Individual Membership - individual named is the only person that may show
Youth Membership - youth named is the only person that may show
Family Membership - any member of the family living at the same address may show
Farm/business Membership - anyone may show
For example, if you are planning on bringing your friends, neighbours, grandchildren etc with you to show at a Club Points show, you will need a Farm Membership.
Pay your membership before Dec 31, 2017 and save $5!
Please note that the 2018 fees are:
$25 Youth
$40 Individual
$50 Family
$60 Farm
Reminder: ALL memberships, including renewals, MUST be submitted with a completed & signed membership form. Forms and membership details can be found and printed at www.mhco.ca under the ‘Membership’ link page or click here for current MHCO Membership form.
It is also time to give members the opportunity to participate in the 2018 Journal ads to promote their farm and support the MHCO.
We have been able to maintain the $75.00 cost to participating members to advertise in all 6 issues. The 2018 ads will be in greyscale, as the Journal no longer offers the spot colour option that we have used for many years. In order to participate, you must be a paid up 2018 member of the MHCO. The Journal ad payment must be made separate from your membership payment.
Please email Julie Fitzsimmons at joliesminis@gmail.com to reserve your spot. She will require the farm name, names, address, telephone number, email and website that you want to be included. Payment for Journal ad must be received by December 5.
Payments can be made through etransfer to treasurer@mhco.ca. Cheques or money orders should be made payable to the MHCO. Payments can also be brought to the fall meeting, or mailed to:
